No matter how many alts we may have logged on ... we can only be one place at a time. So we might have second lives, but time is really the limit eh? We might have tons of friends, but only so much time to share. Mono ... time is really mono. All we have is now.
I have a friend in RL. She's getting famous really fast. Suddenly she have more friends than she can handle. And they get angry if she can't be with them, share time with them, and feels she's gone arrogant. Some are really needy, manipulating ... others resign. Few can entertain themself. Those are the ones whom she wants to share the little time she's got!
So the needy becomes the pain ... effect of Matthew in action. It's not deliberate, just a fact of any life, Second Life included.

Time is the most valuable thing you can spend, I'm sure. But when I spend it with friends it's the best investment. Sometimes I spend time with someone and feel like I've poured this precious commodity down the drain. Some people expect us to give it away... but we only have a limited amount, and less every day.

You have become one of my best friends in this luna world!! I watch in amazement how some can really entertain themselves! I also never had a problem too much with being alone! Time is mono and we walk the timeline, that's true. We cannot divide us too much! Perhaps it is just a matter of setting priorities...
And for your friend...I hope he/she sticks to the things that really matter :) Because fame is gone so fast! We think we choose the road we walk, but often we are pushed into the wrong directions.. Let's go with the flow, who knows where it will bring us :) It might be highly entertaining :)))))
