Half a year ago I would have said 'bullshit' to the above quote : ) But this is true for me now. Virtual relationship is something completely new, and it raises so many questions:

'Can you talk about a relationship if it's only virtual?'
Yes off course we can. A relationship is any meeting between two minds. Some just lasts longer than others. Reality is a shared experience. It still only goes on inside our minds. Reality is nothing but impulses, filtered through our senses, and interpreted by our brain. The more we can agree with at least one other person, on what is going on around us, the more real it is. Love is really something that are going on inside me anyway.

'Can you talk about commitment if you can't be sure one will spend its time with the other?'
Friendships don't seem to suffer the same craving to regulate and box in. Why is this any different?

'But I concluded that SL in no way can replace RL love / relationship'
I am sure you are right about that. I would definitely miss the physical side of things: touch, sex, etc. Still… I am amazed of the intensity of what ever it is that is going on in SL.
