If I was the new CEO of Linden Lab…

• I would make it a bannable offence to wear system hair, unless it was Monday (everybody hates Mondays anyway).
• I would require all my employers, including myself, to start 2011 by being in-world each day for all of January: Everyone should try to create things, start up a shop, buy and sell land, make new non LL friends, try out the sex-scene, go visit the art sims, try to teach a class for newbs, start up a club and make it popular, go to the theatre, make a machinima, make a concert, or just go to one (I don’t recall ever seing a linden at a concert), make high rez product shoots, and art shoots etc. etc.
• I wouldn’t greet people with a huge empty black screen/bad screenshot on login, but with an active page with info, containing, but not limited to, the latest blog news, the events, a link to the marketplace etc. No one should log in to SL and not be aware of what is going on.
• I would lower the price on server space (come on, it’s hilarious!)
• I would get support up and running (nonsupport is hilarious too!)
• I would make sims that could hold hundreds of people (maybe just as clouds), and make a proper concert, with great musicians to celebrate this magic world.
• I would make a smoother implementing of fixes, and better inworld support for your viewer. It is done amazingly well by a handful of TPV developers doing it for free, why can’t LL do it better?
• I would think of something to make it actually worthwhile to be a premium member.
• I would hire actual webdesigners, and actual PR people, to make proper functioning web and PR.
